1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ToGo UAE ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and services. By using ToGo UAE, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, mobile phone number, email address, vehicle details (such as make, model, and location), and booking information. We also collect limited technical and usage data needed to operate the app, such as device push-notification tokens.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve our services: to create and manage your account, process bookings, arrange vehicle pickup and delivery, process payments, send you booking and service notifications, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Phone Verification

We verify your phone number using a one-time passcode (OTP) sent by SMS through our verification provider (Twilio). Your phone number is used to secure your account and to enable service-related communication.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. ToGo UAE does not store your full card details on its own servers. Card information is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their security standards and privacy policy.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure and is protected by access controls and security rules. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. Sharing of Information

We share your information only as needed to provide the service: with the independent Service Agent assigned to handle your vehicle, with the garage or service centre performing the requested work, and with our service providers (such as Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, and our email provider for confirmations). We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

8. Communications

By using ToGo UAE, you consent to receive service-related communications via push notification, SMS, email, and WhatsApp. These communications relate to your bookings, account, and the services you request.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

10. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at admin@togouae.com. You can also stop using the app and request that your account be closed.

11. Children’s Privacy

ToGo UAE is not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page, and your continued use of ToGo UAE after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
